IT’S BURGER TIME!!! Remember this game?

The burger craze of NYC has revved up to fucking high gear by now. It’s a full-on onslaught offensive, the likes of which has not been seen since the German Blitzkrieg.

On the other hand, if you are like many other burger aficionados, you may be a purist. Ground beef, cheese, buns. Avoid complications.

I may be a bit late to the burger party, but below is a collection of places I’ve dined at for burgers.

Keep in mind when reading these reviews that I tend to favor a potato bun, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and mayo. I almost always go for jalapenos, especially if they are fresh (not pickled), and I will sometimes get bacon. Also, I hate burgers that stack up too high and become unruly to eat. Last, I cut my burgers in half. I hate when I get food on my face, and cutting the burger makes me feel like I am having a neater meal for some weird reason.
